Ranger
We rescued Ranger as a foal. His mom gave birth to him on a trailer headed to slaughter. Ranger was able to be saved, but unfortunately his mom was not. He came to us malnourished and scared.
However, with love and care, Ranger became a sweet, beautiful boy with a lot of personality.
Charlie
Charlie was at an auction known for the majority of horses going to slaughter. His feet were horrendous, and each step was very painful to him. He was depressed and appeared to have given up.
Charlie was brought to Good Haven and immediately began the road to recovery. He lived the remainder of his life at Good Haven, healthy, happy, and loved.
Scout
Scout was purchased by a kill buyer at a local auction. We were able to rescue her before she loaded onto the trailer.
It took time to build trust with her. But today, she is a happy, beautiful addition to the family.
